1. “Life is hard? Compared to what?”
I remember reading this in a book and it just stuck in my head. It means that people call life difficult, but difficult is a relative term. This is asking what you could possibly be comparing life to. The only answer I see possible would be death, but never having experienced that, it’d be hard to compare. I just found this interesting.
